About TryHabla
TryHabla

Built for speaking classrooms

Speaking practice made simple.

One focused workflow for assigning speaking practice, recording in the browser, and turning student voice into useful teacher feedback.

Why TryHabla matters to me

Built for my mom. Supporting her fight.

My mom is a Spanish teacher fighting recurrent endometrial cancer. She is the reason TryHabla exists. I built it to make her classroom easier, and now I'm building it into something that can help me support her as much as possible. The core classroom is free, and revenue from Teacher helps me operate TryHabla and support my family through her fight.

PayPal is for voluntary, non-tax-deductible donations only. A donation does not purchase TryHabla, activate AI access, start or extend a subscription, add AI-assisted recording units, or provide any other product or service. TryHabla product billing is handled only through Stripe.

Self-serve for teachers. Flexible options for schools.

Start with one class. Prove the workflow before a wider rollout.

Already learning from real classroom use

TryHabla is being shaped by actual speaking assignments while school and district teams can review privacy and rollout needs separately.

Transcribe first. Grade with AI only when it helps.

Teachers can generate a clean transcript to copy or download, then provide their own feedback. Optional AI grading can add a whole-point score, rubric breakdown, and editable feedback without using another unit for the same recording.
